Photo Contest Terms of Use

Industrial Press has created this photo contest for participants to have fun!

However, there are guidelines for participating in the contest. Any member found to be in violation of these rules will have their submission disqualified and may, in some cases, have their Industrial Press account deleted.

1. Upload content that you have created.

Respect the copyright of others. This means don't steal photos and pass them off as your own. By uploading a photo to the contest, you are stating that you are the SOLE copyright holder. Industrial Press may use your photo to promote the photo contest, website, Machinery's Handbook or in other promotional materials. By uploading your image, you agree to let Industrial Press use your photo in these ways. You will still retain your copyright.

2. Don’t upload content that is illegal, prohibited or suggestive.

The photo contest is G RATED! If we find you uploading this kind of content your submission will be deleted from the contest. If we find you repeatedly uploading this kind of content, your account will be deleted and we'll take appropriate action, which may include reporting you to the authorities.

3. Do play nice.

At a certain point in the photo contest, as well as elsewhere on our site, the community will be given a chance to comment on photo submissions. We're a community of many types of people, who all have the right to feel comfortable and who may not think what you think, believe what you believe or see what you see. So, be polite and respectful in your interactions with other members.
